When you book online we collect your vehicle registration, the service you want, your chosen date and time, your phone number and your email address. We use these only to manage your booking: to check the slot, confirm the appointment, contact you about it, and know which vehicle to expect. The legal basis is taking steps to enter into a contract with you (UK GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
When you leave a review we collect the name you type, your star rating and your comment. Approved reviews are shown publicly on this website. The legal basis is your consent — you choose to submit the review, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising.
Booking and review data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase on servers in London, United Kingdom. Our website is served by Cloudflare. Emails to and from us are handled by Google (Gmail) and Cloudflare Email Routing. These providers process data on our behalf as processors.
We keep booking records so we can serve you better on return visits (for example, seeing your vehicle's history with us). If you ask us to delete your booking history, we will. Reviews stay on the site until you ask for removal or we take them down.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The booking system uses only what is technically necessary to work. The embedded Google Map on the contact section is loaded from Google and is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us: what data we hold about you (access), to correct it (rectification), to delete it (erasure), or to stop using it. Email info@njautosliverpool.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
